It is surprising that Travolta provided voice-over for the dog. Acting was never his forte. However, the worst of the lot is the voice of the cat. The monotonous voice of the woman brings garbage alone the whole film down to a gutter-hole. I think the director should take a pair of shears, identify women and twist on her vocal cords without anesthésie.Rhino is a savior, a little! Very very poor! Lady Esteban, 4 lines long? Hmmmm! Are you sure you did not see double? I ask you to exercise your “analytical” quackery on the Colombian drug traffickers’! Who knows, you might be “models” of citizens or at least they can turn you into food for earthworms. . . Rating: 1 / 5
When I tried to play the DVD, it freezes and I have tried on 3 DVD players. Rating: 1 / 5
I really wanted to like Bolt. I like most of these types of films. And why not, it is well done with excellent animation and competent cast, excellent production values, cute characters, etc. But the problem for me is that I can not get the message in the past and under horrible -text of this movie. The dog is mistreated by his owner. And the film is essentially about the dog back resolutely faithful to her tormentors. I am really surprised that more people have no problem with that as I do (an animal lover). Rating: 1 / 5
I gave this a higher rating if it was not supposed to be geared towards children. My six year old daughter was scared and sad for part of this movie, crying uncontrolably during the fire scene. Parents beware. Now, that said, I liked the movie, but not for small children. I think Disney would have mitigated some of this down a little. Rating: 2 / 5
I wanted to like this. I really did. But he offers nothing new. Nothing. And I must say, for the first hour of the main character is totally unsympathetic, without heat redemptive tout.Et set-up, I think, is completely blown away by the first scene (very good) action. How is it possible in any way whatsoever to film this scene without the dog knowing it was not real? And I realize this is a cartoon, and that I should not take everything too seriously, but the whole premise of the film: that Bolt does not know he’s on TV . However, if this were true, this scene is quite unfilmable.Désolé, but it’s a big, big, big, big, big hole plot, one of many to honnête.Quoi it Either way, our hero finds himself lost, alone and far from home. It uses a pair of Sidekicks comedy to help him return home, well, actually, he kidnaps a (very UN-PC treatment to the cat, btw), the other is a psychotic Scrappy-Doo. He travels across the country. A crisis of confidence when he realizes he’s not so super after all. Gets the toe curling pep speech common to at least 90% of Disney movies: “The world needs a hero and YOU! Are the heroes! and sorts it-Out. Then. . . The worst of all, ‘You came back to me. Why did you come back for me? bit about an hour into the film, when Bolt began to save the cat is removed. It is a moment of horrible movies. Clichéd does not even come close to the horror of suffering by cela.Soudain, everyone is friends and the return journey continues. But there is another crisis of confidence. Bolt whole life was a sham and perhaps it is just not needed anymore. Pep talk. . . The newfound confidence Bolt goes out and comes just in time to save his master from a perilous, death is certain, the situation and become a hero in real life. . . Ahh. . . It says something about the movie when the best lines, best comedy and best scenes all come from the distribution support. The pigeons are the Three Amigos, the rodent is a “let-me-at-’em! Scrappy-Doo, with some cool post-modern hang-ups and humans are too incredibly stupid to be taken as “any” credible characters. Bolt is just a nice little Buzz Light year (Toy Story Buzz imagine if it was played straight for three quarters of the film, but without any play that followed.) To be fair, I watched this twice, I really gave it a go, but the second time was with a great sense of being cheated. Bolt is cut and paste “from Disney by numbers and a perfect example of why the industry needs producers like Pixar. Bolt did not humor, invention, characterization, story, depth, irony, quality and enjoyment of a film from Pixar (Tho, it does not look fantastic ). Ok, I’m being hard on a cute cartoon but Bolt is still the apple wax next to Pixar something real good health.Children children raised on E numbers and RM will love it, it’s all style over substance Disney fans will love because they buy 2 Cinderella and The Jungle Book 2. But it made me wince more than it made me smile. And I did not laugh once. It will not make best of lists, it sûr.Très disappointed. Rating: 2 / 5
