BOXMAN - World of Movies and great actors actresses

Jim Carrey returned back to the movies world with ‘Yes Man’ to make us laugh again. During the Yes Man London premiere, the famous actor said: “I haven’t finished yet,” and he stated that he will never quit acting even though he becomes doomed to wheelchair one day.

The new Jim Carrey movie Yes Man, adopted from the work of famous Scotch writer  and cult comedian Danny Wallace, is directed by Peyton Reed, the skillful director of the movies ‘The Break Up’ and ‘Bring It On’. On the first day in Los Angeles movie theaters Yes Man grossed $18.2 million.

The Yes Man London premiere stirred up interest of Jim Carrey fans. The actors of the movie, Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel and Bradley Cooper came to Leicester Square together with the director Peyton Reed and the writer Danny Wallace to meet the fans and movie lovers in spite of the cold weather. The fans of the ‘most famous live comedian’ greeted them with enthusiasm.

The unforgettable actor of ‘The Truman Show’, ‘The Mask’, ‘Liar Liar’, ‘Man On The Moon’, ‘Bruce Almighty’ and 2 times winner of Golden Globe award and 9 times winner of  MTV movie award, Jim Carrey is now back in the movie theaters as Yes Man, Carl Allen.

Due to his long time disappearance, some people said Jim Carrey  was finished but he says he is not. He explained that he had no aim to quit acting but he was having some rest after many big projects and he had agreed acting in Yes Man due to its philosophy. He thinks we should be open to saying yes to changes and novelties in this changing world of our time. By saying ‘yes’, you open your doors and give a chance to new opportunities. Jim Carrey says, there were times when he said ‘no’ more than ‘yes’, however he is happier since he began to prefer ‘yes’. In the movie, the character Carl Allen learns Chinese, tries bungee jumping and drives motorcycle. Jim Carrey did not want to use a stuntman and persuaded the director Peyton Reed that it would be better to do all those himself because this character finds himself explore new things after he decides to say ‘yes’ to everything. To perform his role in the best way, Jim Carrey wanted to experience those himself instead of using a stuntman and he even jumped down a bridge. He says that he enjoyed acting in the movie Yes Man and experiencing new things.

The director Peyton Reed says he also enjoyed working with Jim Carrey as he was an actor saying ‘yes’ to everything. This is a movie make the audience think as well as laugh. Peyton Reed says Yes Man reminds people the importance of being open to changes in the changing world and believes that the movie has the mission.

However, the famous actress Zooey Deschanel, who performed the role of Allison, the beautiful woman who meets Carl Allen after he begins to say ‘yes’, prefers saying ‘no’ in her real life. As a young woman, Zooey says that it is better for her to say ‘no’ more than ‘yes’ in her private life as a ‘yes woman’ would not be that much attractive and also she finds it dangerous. Zooey Deschanel describes his colleague Jim Carrey as ‘modest, crazy, wise and energetic. Zooey Deschanel thinks she is very lucky to be in the same project with Jim Carrey and learned a lot from him.
