DescriptionHistory is larger than life and twice as funny in this comedy monumental result is “better than the original” (At the Movies) “Ben Stiller leads an all-star cast (including Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria and Robin Williams), Larry Daley, a former night watchman at the Natural History Museum, where exhibits come alive after dark. But now Larry’s nocturnal friends are retired in the archives of the Smithsonian Institution, luring him back for a hilarious, all-out battle against the museum of misfits who intend to support the Smithsonian… and the world! Amazon. comBen Stiller fight with beasts extinct, historical, and monkeys to mind at Night the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, the continuation of the popular 2006 special effects extravaganza. This time, the tablet of ancient Egypt (the one that brings all the exhibits at New York Museum of Natural History in the Life night) is shipped off to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC – which, as the film tells us diligently, is the largest museum in the world. Naturally, the old museum guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) lower head to save her (and, by extension, to keep his magical friends living museum). He ends up fighting evil with a pharaoh who talks like Boris Karloff (Hank Azaria, The Simpsons) and fall in love with Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams , Enchanted). All the old gang are along the route, including Dexter the monkey, the face-slapping and more special effects ensue. There are not many surprises, but Battle of the Smithsonian is enough happy to entertain all those who enjoyed the first film. Extras include comments by the director and writers, the usual congratulatory making-of featurette, deleted scenes that are actually as good as the rest of the film, an alternative ending and a second disc completely useless about Crystal, the capuchin monkey who plays Dexter (disk monkeys less than half an hour of material, including two mediocre games). Distribution supportive statements from the first film, including Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, and Robin Williams. – Bret Fetzer Stills from Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (Click for larger image)

Back in the sixties when I grew up, Custer was a hero, he even had his own television show. Then, after “Little Big Man”, became a villain. Now he is in NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM II back. What should we base plate on it: Guy naughty or nice? Well, since he can not be remembered as a good guy, and we can not just put everything in an American uniform among the wicked, let’s just say that “Battle of the Smithsonian” is his last make amends and do good to fin.Sounds stupid? is. Unfortunately, these are the criteria behind the film. For each character, a label: Spunky Amelia Earhart is a good girl because she was a woman who flew the aircraft. The Tuskegee Airmen are good because they were black (and flew planes). Einstein was smart, then he must know how to decipher an Egyptian enigma. Lincoln is a good guy because he has a great statue. Ivan the Terrible? bad guy, of course, why waste such a nickname! Napoleon must be “despicable” also because he was a little runt imperialist warmongering. In fact, the same can be said of Teddy Roosevelt, only it belongs to the Gentiles. Why? Car! Yeah, I know. No harm done, just entertainment Brain Candy. However, these films are made to promote the museum depicts, for the children to flock to them and learn a thing or two. Why learn at all, you see, if you need to know that you can choose watching movies made by the predictable happy guy politically correct platitudes, prejudices and urban myths, stereotypes… with their hard-won contracts fat Hollywood? Hey you like Ben Stiller being slapped by a monkey in the first film? Here he is slapped by two monkeys! Enjoy !************* ************************************* * PS: What is meant by Abraham Lincoln ” A house divided against itself can not stand “(a quote from Christ, by the way), not” divide and conquer “, but” Divided We Fall “, a concept somewhat differently. Alas, this n ‘ has not discouraged the writer. After the cowboys friendship with the Romans, why should it? Rating: 1 / 5
The original was ok, kinda nice. This is too similar or suffering from a suite-sucko-noma. Can not really even give it 2 stars. Just 1 then. Avoid unless you are a child or just take the kids to a movie on Sat Nite Rating: 1 / 5
I can not laugh watching this movie. The first is mieux.Parfois look like stupid jokes. Rating: 1 / 5
Warning: This review may contain spoilers > > since the beginning. I wondered how ordinary security guard Ben Stiller Schlub could easily become an infomercial king, Hawking glow in the dark flashlights GoBS and earn money. Then I realized that the writers could not just start it as a security guard at the museum again because people do not want the same thing twice when they pay money for a sequel. However, the angle infomercial ended up being dropped like a hot potato and Stiller is back in the museum as the original. This time, he learns that his buddies at the Museum of Natural History are shipped in the archives of the basement at the Smithsonian. To make matters worse, they face a guy crazy Pharaoh who needs to find a secret code that will open the door to ancient Egypt, where all its minions evil just waiting to break loose and cause havoc on a world without méfiance.Il are moments in “Battle for the Smithsonian,” that feel like the script has been suspended, the action was entirely improvised. Take the scene with Stiller tries to break into the basement at the Smithsonian, opposed by the security guard played by Jonah Hill. The joke is that the security guard is a wuss and was easily deterred by the more convincing Stiller. And therein lies the problem for each character in the film. They are all fools, one way or another and have no weight moral.L ‘antagonist is played by Hank Azaria, who first noted as a pharaoh lisping, Kahmunrah. He is joined by three villains of history: Napoleon Bonaparte, Ivan the Terrible and a young Al Capone. The three allies of Egypt have virtually nothing to see in the film – Bonaparte at one point jumping over Stiller, waves a gun and Capone Ivan scowls fondamentalement.Alliés Stiller fare no better. Owen Wilson plays a miniature cowboy trapped inside an hourglass by Kahmunrah. We’re supposed to laugh as he is gradually overwhelmed by sand in an hourglass flowing on top of him. Steve Coogan Is Buddy Wilson, playing another “miniature”, this time, the famous Roman emperor Octavian ` ‘. Grand Emperor of the time is when he is mistaken for a squirrel and a giant creature walks back into the Smithsonian think he can take over the army of evil Kahmunrah. No laughs there! Bill Hader plays General Custer with an inferiority complex: he deplored the fact that he will always be remembered for his one bad moment at Little Big Horn with all his other accomplishments ignored. While Custer was a complete clown, the Indian Princess Sacajawea not berates him for his hatred of Native Americans, but rather for his incompetence as soldat.Il takes a long time before interest love Stiller, an icon of feminism Amelia Earhardt, played by Amy Adams, doing what she does best: i. e. fly an airplane. But mostly, it’s nothing more than the weak love interest in the film – Chasing around Stiller, playing a bit Spunky and provide moral support. Other parts are wasted Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt (in two incarnations as Teddy on horseback and bust as speaking), an Attila the Hun totally forgettable and a bunch of grunts Néandertaliens.L ‘plot is pretty disappointing. After Kahmunrah code is “secret” of Albert Einstein Bobblehead and releases the forces of evil, they all operate inexpicably Return to portal after a giant Abraham Lincoln (from his sleep in the Lincoln Memorial), confronts them. Lincoln is reduced to a giant awkward, more like Lurch from the old Adams Family TV series that the great statesman of American history. “Battle” was written primarily for the department of special effects to their exploits. There is a nifty little visual effects at famous paintings come to life (most notably when Stiller and jump Adams in the famous scene of Valentine with the sailor and the nurse to stay in Times Square). Rodan’s “Thinker” comes to life as a wise-talking Guido and there are three statues angel singing updated versions of rap r & b classics. All this is pleasant to watch but it’s just not very drôle.Je never been a big fan of Ben Stiller but here it excels in a role that relies mainly on slapstick humor. There is nothing clever or spiritual Battle for the Smithsonian. It is a race to the lowest in the American comedy. And the producers here, should reflect the old warning – What Goes Around, Comes Around! Hopefully Kahmunrah will curse them again in the future – at the box office, where it hurts! Rating: 1 / 5
As a former museum guard in the city of New York, this thing is terrible. I stopped watching after 5 minutes. I had my doubts, so I’ve never seen so far (several years after its release), but this turkey is so terrible that I can not recommend it to anyone except very young children who love dinosaurs. The worst. Rating: 1 / 5
