With Saw III, the franchise nearly moved to Gore Gore’s Sake, as it explores new and better ways to traumatize the body – and the public. Events from Saw II are sewn up at the beginning of the film, and a detective on the trail of mad killer Jigsaw is quickly trussed up and subjected to one of the wicked sadistic games (this one has escape possible only by means of ‘a key sitting in the bottom of a container of acid). Then we catch up with Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) himself, as he awaits death from his debilitating illness, again it is maintained by helper Shawnee Smith. The movie follows parallel plots: Jigsaw blackmails a doctor (Bahar Soomekh) to keep it alive, and tortures a vengeful soul (Angus Macfayden) recognizing the futility of vengeance. Original Saw creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell worked on the screenplay of it, and it fully buys into the series mythology, referring backwards to previous events and, for all we know, we are preparing to future payments. But if future installments are also unnecessarily disgusting than this, there is not much hope. – Robert Horton

Ok, I’ll admit that the fist “Saw” is a great film, but this series has gone on waaaay too far. The film 2nd Artillery Passage over hyped (I mean seriously, these people have been delayed?) And the only thing that saved it was the same as Twist ending still seemed forced. This video 3rd one is really dead in the water. I watched the whole film waiting for something, anything that might make this latest episode worthy of being put to film. . . Nope. It introduces elements of the history of this conflict with the last 2 films, movies, and this force will not end come off nearly as smoothly, in fact, you see that from miles away. I must admit there are some nifty Gore & grotesque moments in the film, but that’s about all he got for him. The fact that there is already a 4th movie in the works just makes me cringe. Lionsgate again is going to take something good and run in the mud ’til every last dollar has been wiped off of him and the property is then left without value. I understand people are hungry for horror descent, but lowered the standards do not make a good film. This is not the worst movie in the world, but nothing to brag and must be monitored with your Thinking Cap OFF. About the only qualities of the DVD is redeemeing feature on the film special effects, even today I would not use it as a decisive factor, it is always your special fair standards. A lease may be justified in this case, but nothing more could leave you dissapointed and want more. Rating: 3 / 5

I thought that was the best out of all the Saw movies, I personally think this movie was more detailed and kept me on the edge of my seat. Usually, most films after the first, the remaining films go down hill, not this one. Rating: 5 / 5
This is not horror by any stretch of imagination. It’s pathetic, repulsive Gore was not the least bit scared for me. The filmmakers in this country have lost sight of what is horror. We are far behind the rest of the world where the concept of the film is concernée.Ces garbage is made for one reason alone; Kids shell money and think it’s entertainment. This film is boring, bland, horrible, cruel and very depressing. When I was younger, I remember leaving the theater after some of the great horror films of the day, laughing at the experience a good scare these films provided. This is not the case today. Blood, blood, blood and more blood combined with the sickest ways imaginable to torture and kill people is NOT entertainment, it is NOT a horror. It was first trash.Le saw. . . eh. . . ok. The second is purely stupid. The third is pure garbage. Fortunately, I did not have to pay more than one red cent to see these pieces of scrap. But three is my limit. I’m not going to make 4 pieces, 5, 6 However, many of them will Sucker in the movie going public in the future. This is what you get when you have no standards or expectations.
