Album DescriptionFrom director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the heroic Autobotsr and Decepticonsr evil. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between Decepticonsr and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Ignore it is the last chance for human survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart pounding race against an enemy that no one has seen before. It’s incredible, breathtaking film spectacular that USA Today affirme”fera appeal to the kid in all of us. ”Amazon. com “I bought a car. proved to be an alien robot. Who knows?” Deadpan Sam Witwicky, hero and human heart rollicking robot of Michael Bay-Fest smackdown, Transformers. Witwicky (the sweet nerdy Shia LaBeouf, channeling a young John Cusack) is the perfect counterpoint to the vivifying action rarely stops. The plot is simple: an alien civil war (the Autobots against the evil Decepticons) has spilled onto Earth, and young Sam is caught in the fray by his newly purchased blown Camaro. Who has the mind – and identity, as a noble warrior robot named Bumblebee – of its own. The effects, especially the amazing transformations of the robots into their earthly forms and vice versa, are stellar. Fans of the previous film and TV series will be excited by this cutting-edge incarnation, but this version should please all fans of high-adrenaline action. Director Bay gleefully salts the movie with homages to pop-culture touchstones like Raiders of the Lost Ark, King Kong and WarGames technothriller early. The actors, though clearly all supporting documents such kickass robots, are uniformly on-target, including the dashing Josh Duhamel as a sergeant in the U.S. military to fight an enemy he never anticipated; Jon Voight, as a strong and sympathetic Secretary of Defense in over his head, and John Turturro, whose special agent manages to be confidently unctuous, even stripped to his underwear. But the film belongs to Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron and the loose – and the wicked stunts they collide in all corners of the globe. Long live Transformers! – A. T. • A conservative website has presented this film as a healthy and entertaining with some action against violence and nothing more than a kiss on the moral scale. Well, not really the whole story. We had to disable it without end because of endless innuendo and crude. A Christian Movie Review-Web site lists it as “offensive” – that being too nice. The lack of actual “room” scenes do not make a good film for Christians. Do not let biblical values be transformed into those of the world. If you have any conservative biblical values, move away, and certainly do not let your children have free access to this moral cesspool of a film. Rating: 1 / 5

  • I hated this movie. If is was a little more like the cartoon and the first has not done it genocide pro then maybe it would have been passable. What made Transformers great in the 80s is that they were heroes. They escaped slavery and turned on their masters and made great efforts to save the lives of their people and ours. In this new movie all that is forgotten and in its place is a mockery of the old story line. If the film was directed by someone who cares about the comic strip it would have made millions more and has many old fans happy. Rating: 1 / 5

  • I still buy most ordinary DVDs, but when I saw this in the theater, it was a Blu-Ray MUST. I almost went out and got the game processors for my PS3 just to tide me over. I’m very bummed about Paramount being purchased by Microsoft to function as an HD-DVD exclusive. Now, I may even buy the DVD for a while. Hopefully Paramount will distribute the Blu-Rays of some of these “exclusive” s next year. Probably best to wait until then. Rating: 1 / 5

  • How can I get this feeling? The new “Transformers” film will be a loss collassal time, money, ambition and expectations. Of course the idea of the Transformers is ready to be a great summer movie, but the execution of what I have seen so far is fade.Les robots look nothing like they are supposed to, the look of this movie is “War of the Worlds” (2006) mates with “Bad Boys 2″ as Hasbro in 1984, and once again Hollywood brings humans boring to be the center of attention as a film for 2 hours with only the Transformers (the things we’ve actually paid money to see) would be too costly. In this way, the animators did not make any more than what is expected of them instead of being inspired to create a painfully true live-action movie of a comic and beloved series jouets.Chaque inch of film I have seen so far makes me gag and everyone is really excited about this movie needs to check their expectations at the door. You are about to be as disappointed as you were when you saw “Spiderman 3″ and “Superman Returns”. Now lets lower head in a moment of silence… Rating: 1 / 5
